Staycation 2020 is a celebration of our British Coastline. Lots of us are being forced to stay close to home this year and although I acknowledge all of the challenges and difficulties of this time for so many, I wanted to celebrate what we have on our doorsteps (if and when we are able to get there).

I think it’s easy to forget how beautiful our own country is when there are so many images sold to us of far-flung places and that strange sense of ‘missing out’. This year, we have all been forced to slow down and I’ve very much been grounded by nature and landscape - appreciating it with greater attention.

We have some stunning scenery very close to all of us. I hope you all manage to get out to enjoy it safely soon!

I used acrylics on box canvas.

Dimensions are 48” x 12” and 35mm deep.

Ready to be hung straight on a wall, this piece comes unframed however I can arrange framing upon request.
