Part of a series of paintings that I've been working on during the recent lockdowns in the UK. Like many, at times, I've been longing to get away - to experience a change of scenery, a change of routine and a change of perspective.

This is literally a new painting perspective for me, from above, looking down. It's also metaphorically something I do for myself in times of overwhelm...I try to experience myself from afar in order that I can better put into context my worries. Usually this really helps as usually I'm not in a life or death situation, it's just a bit of fear blown out of proportion in my own head!

I hope that this piece can bring a little escapism and perspective shift to its owner; a reminder to look at things from different angles and to flow freely.

Dimensions are 23.6” x 12” and 35mm deep and I’ve used acrylics with oil pastels.

Ready to be hung straight on a wall, this piece comes unframed however I can arrange framing upon request.
