Designing spaces, experiences & atmosphere

Architecture-trained creative working across interiors, hospitality, visualisation and visitor experience.

I help people see and shape how a place will look and feel before it is real, from homes and hospitality spaces to illustrated maps of whole landscapes.

The Practice

My work begins with how a place is used, felt and remembered. I draw on architectural training and a decade in high-end visualisation to help you picture a space clearly before anything is committed to, then shape the layout, material, colour and atmosphere that give it a particular feeling.

Some projects are rooms and buildings. Others are illustrated maps that help people find their way through a whole landscape. The thread is the same throughout: making a place legible, considered and rooted in its own character.

Ways to work together

Three connected ways into the practice, from a focused first session to full design and visualisation projects.

Design Direction Session

A focused first step. Half a day of considered thinking on your space or project, delivered as a clear written direction.

Spatial Design & Visualisation

Layout, atmosphere and visualisation for homes, hospitality spaces and places under development.

Illustrated mapping & place illustration

Illustrated maps and place-based artwork that help people understand and move through a landscape.

The work is rooted in real places, and begins with how they are used, felt and remembered.

A little about me

REBECCA HARRISON

I trained in architecture and spent more than a decade in high-end architectural visualisation in London, including a period as an Associate at Millerhare, before moving into independent practice in 2019.

I work from the rural landscapes of Lincolnshire and North Yorkshire, and that sense of place runs through everything I create.
